Bio | Robert graduated from the University of Limerick with a PhD in Modern Irish American History in 2020. The main focus of his research centres on the impact of Irish America on twentieth-century Irish history. He has amassed several publications including a peer-reviewed journal article in Irish Studies in International Affairs titled “A Tremendous Motivating Factor”: Irish Northern Aid and the Belfast March Tour‘ in December 2021 and several articles for RTÉ Brainstorm. His monograph, Noraid and the Northern Ireland Troubles, 1970-1994 was published in September 2022 with Four Courts Press. |
