Employment | 2023-24: Postdoctoral Researcher on ‘CARTLANN: Gníomhaíochas, teanga agus na meáin – ag baint úsáid as cartlanna Chonradh na Gaeilge chun tuiscint a fháil ar pholasaithe i leith na Gaeilge ar an dá thaobh den teorainn’, led by Dr John Walsh, School of Languages, Literature, and Culture. The research is funded by The HEA North-South Research Programme 2021, under theShared Island Initiative. CARTLANN engages with the Conradh na Gaeilge archival papers, housed in the University of Galway. The project investigates the campaigning work of the all-Ireland Irish language voluntary organisation, Conradh na Gaeilge, with a specific focus on the role of media as part of their language activism.
