The Historian, Heritage and Public History – a workshop

 

We are delighted that the next IAPH workshop will take place in Belfast. Organised in conjunction with Queen’s University Belfast, this workshop focuses on ‘The Historian, Heritage and Public History’.

 

DATE: Saturday 17 January 2015

TIME: 10.30-3.30

VENUE: Ulster Museum, Botanic Gardens, Belfast (Grainger Room)

REGISTRATION: This workshop is open to both IAPH members and non-members. A £10/€12.50 attendance fee applies to non-members, and a £5/€6.50 fee to IAPH members.

Session 3: Public History Roundtable (2.00 – 3.15) Dr Olwen Purdue, Chair

Participants will include a range of representatives from public history and heritage organisations, such as William Blair (Ulster Museum), Paddy Fitzgerald (QUB and Ulster-American Folk Park) and Brian Lambkin (Ulster-American Folk Park)
