Bio | Dr Gerri O’Neill completed her PhD thesis ‘Private Lives and Public Personas: female participation in the IRA during Ireland’s War of Independence’ at DCU’s School of History & Geography. She tutors three history modules with DCU’s Open Education Unit and is currently editing a book based on her thesis. She is She is also researching the origins and activities of the Citizens’ Defence Force during the Civil War, 1922-23. |
